 GST price changes

As announced in the 2010 NZ budget, New Zealands GST will rise from 12.5% to 15%, from the 1st October 2010. This will mean that we will be adjusting our prices to reflect the change, when that GST rise comes in.
Business users who are registered for GST, should be able to claim any increased GST costs back when they file a GST return as normal.
We also thought it was a good opportunity to standardise most of the GST exclusive prices on our monthly hosting plans, and to round them up so they end in 95cents. eg $26.67 + GST would become $26.95 + GST etc. Some of our hosting prices are already displayed this way, so this rounding will only affect those prices not already displayed in that way. Much of our our pricing hasn't altered in the nearly 10 years we have been operating, despite inflation and increasing wage and operating costs.
Existing hosting accounts however will not be subject to this rounding increase, as long as they remain active accounts and don't become overdue at any stage. Therefore if you are an existing currently pay $26.67+GST, your GST exclusive price will remain at $26.67+GST. Only your GST inclusive price will increase (will rise from $30 inc 12.5% GST, up to $30.67 inc 15% GST).
