This page will keep you up to date with what is happening on our hosting network. All the servers we use are hosted by professional datacentres, and managed 24x7 by their professional technicians and server administrators.
Should a web hosting issue occur with one of the servers or server networks, it may not immediately appear on this page, however the datacentre technicians will usually have already identified the issue, and will be working on resolving it as soon as they can. Please don't be alarmed if there currently appears to be an issue with a server, but it doesn't yet appear on this page, as we operate this page independently from the datacentres. This page will also normally only be updated during normal business hours.
If you are experiencing an issue with your Website Hosting or Email, please also check our Troubleshooting Your Website FAQs or our Troubleshooting Your Email FAQs, to make sure that the problem isn't at your end or with your ISP, home/office network, or your computer.. |

New Backup System In Place for CPanel Hosting plans on Concorde and Libra servers

Since May 2008, our providers have been testing and running a new backup system for the CPanel Hosting plans on the Concorde and Libra servers. This new backup system is state of the art, and is only used by premium hosting providers. After the successful initial testing, it has now been implemented for CPanel Hosting plans on Concorde and Libra servers.

NZ Albany Network Windows server Users - An urgent ASP.NET security reconfiguration

Our providers have been made aware of recently released exploit code that the Windows Servers may be vulnerable to. Our providers have therefore made an urgent security configuration change to prevent the service from being compromised. This has changed the ASP.NET Trust Level, so it is ow using the custom settings between Medium and High.

15/09/2008 - PHP5 migration completed on Libra Server
The php migration has been complete and default php version is now 5.2.6.
PHP4 will still be available if necessary via your cPanel -> PHP Configuration.
Alternatively you can add the following lines in .htaccess file in the folder where you are using php4:
AddHandler application/x-httpd-php4 .php
AddType application/x-httpd-php4 .php
Please note that php4 will soon be completely removed from the server, so eventually the lines above will cease to work, and will revert back to php5.
